For the Lakeside Home project, the second phase of work was to remodel the basement into an entertainment suite complete with a prized collection of guitars that can be played whenever the inclination arises. The suite includes a game area, a movie screen with surround sound, an exercise room and a deluxe wine cellar. The architectural detailing was made to match the upper floors, but finish materials and lighting were chosen to be a more contemporary expression. The home owner's guitar collection and sport's memorabilia now have a comfortable place of honor, while their worldly collection of wines are chilling nearby at just the right temperature.
